Short story ‘Bear Stalking in the Bucegi’ published in Hinterland

Hinterland is a quarterly magazine showcasing the best in creative non-fiction writing. The first hill we ascended was Mount Omu (2505m). The ski-scarred slopes soon gave way to a strange dwarf pine forest. If there were teddies in these woods, they’d be small and unknown.
